Glades 822
Dramatic Golf Course Views
The brief for Glades 822 was to design a resort style house for to suit a retired or reclusive demographic.
Two high 3.2m pavillion style roofs were repeated along the length of the house, flanking a central passage that extended from the entry and split the formal living and kitchen areas.
A 14m long lap pool was sited along the full length of the living dining. The master bedroom and guest suite were located on the ground floor, enabling single level living. The stair was hidden along the south, with the upstairs footprint minimized to fit the third pavilion style roof.
External blinds were used extensively to for sun control, and automated with the lighting using HPM I-Control.
